CCA Exhibition+ Next day

OK seriously late post on CCA exhibition and thurs cos i have been busy with stuff.
Wednesday was si beh rush.
Was supposed to bring white gloves for that day but then i got the sms at 6+ and was goin to sch liao so i really didnt want to get pumped for not bringing so i ask every1 if they got.
Nobody had.
So it was a few minutes to fall in time and the stall finally opened so i stood outside, praying its one of the lenient sirs. I saw that there was only one dude inside.
It was a graduate/CI.
SO i ask him and then he told me to 'come in'. Usually not a good sign.
I step in and theres a very nice place on the floor for me to pump.
HE then tells me 'you can borrow the white gloves if you can find it'and he laughs.
I seh for a while then 1 sec 4 came in and he looked for the gloves.
Cannot find.
2nd sec 4 come in and look for gloves.
Cannot find.
Then my squad p.t.i. come in and when ask where are the white gloves he replies 'how am i supposed to know'.
So i leave and came back later to borrow.
CCA exhibition I had the happy job of giving out flyers and walk around like a tard with a big board and ask who wants to join npcc.
Calvin and I were one group, Heng Peng, Isaac and Roderick snr another group.
So after two hours they were winning 5 names to 3.
At this point Nicholas comes out cos hes bored and wants to slack so he joins my group and straight away he gets 2 names.
His strategy is to stalk someone, talk to them in some way and then tadah he gets names.
A bit shrewd but he gets results.
So in the end my estimate is that npcc got around 8o+ names and hopefully for the first time there are trials.
OK thursday nothing special happened UNTIL after sch.
Bk, JY and me were walking to the mrt cos we were all taking circle line and we came upon the topic of horror stories/movies thanks to me.
So Bk tells us stories about ubin that his scout snrs tell him and i tell him about one movie that was shown during council camp and jy slept through it.
So Bk left and after stalking me for a while jy also left.
Thanks to the great sharing session I get paranoid when walking home.
So under the void deck i get very paranoid, thinking at 3rd person pov that some1/thing is behind me.
So i zuo kan you kan and on my left theres a funeral.
So i think 'shit' and choing into the lift where the lights are happily dim and i safely get home.
So nth happens till at night when im sleeping in the living room.
The calendar starts making noises u know like someone is flipping through them and i don wanna check.
THen my mom switches on the light to get smth and AS SOON AS SHE OFFS THE LIGHT THE NOISE RESUMES.
So im going oh shit oh shit oh shit and i dunno when but i manage to fall asleep.
I later learn that jy also kena at night cos hes the only person awake at midnite and he got paranoid and bk also kena when walking home.

I thought it for a while now and i decided to give up on trying to stop your from calling me shit like CBS.

Anyway, today was a bad day.
First, basketball.
Got separated from the Bunnies group together with Jireh into the other team.
Argued but I just gave in.
Jireh got hit when he was passed the ball.
Maybe because he said he was open.
I managed to take the ball once by intercepting the pass.
We were losing so Mr Tay wanted to help.
So the other team wanted a deal that they get a player.
They chose Jireh.
Argued but gave in.
Again.
Already a bad start.
Then we had to get back chinese results.
Got pretty bad results.
And had to hear JH whine about bad results.
And he got better than me.
Im usually ok about it.
But the day was already bad.
IT. Then recess.
Hans happily tell me that he skipping NP.
He didnt bring the PT stuff and he said he would be doing us a favour.
So I was like ok.
Then had to hear a group of people organising to go to pizza hut.
Was asked like 3 times if i can go.
Had to answer 3 times that i had NP.

Got not-so-good results.

Hey all. Haven been posting for a while. Cos i've been doin some stuff.

Anyway, heres the week.

Tuesday went to watch (500) days of Summer with JH, Thaddus, Daryl and Ben Sim.

I sat with Ben Sim and Jyh Hean.

One gave a running commentary.

Another one was emoing.

So it was fun.

Not bad movie, though quite sick at some parts.

AND THE GREETING CARDS IN THERE ROCK.

So wednesday went out with a BIGGER gang.

which includes the four people before, jireh, sheng yen, alwin and thanks to an arse, vance.

Went bowling and we all thought alwin gonna pwn us all, being

SCHOOL TEAM PLAYER!

but in the end.

We pwned him.

Especially JH and Ben Sim.

Ben sim seriously the most lucky guy.

spare and spare all the way.

Thaddus most suay one got the lowest score and kept on bowling the brutish way.

Which was using damn heavy balls (that sounds wrong) and bowling.

Half the time around 2 seconds after bowling the ball goes into the gutter.

But one time got STRIKE.

Vance also bowls really gay.

He cant carry the ball so everytime he bowl the ball always drop the floor and roll slowly.

Thursday i thought was gonna be a good day.

Morning assembly said Sec 3s were doin outdoor sports.

Sec 2s doin some activities.

So i thought it was gonna be awesome.

In the end it is ACC

FOR THE ENTIRE DAMN DAY.

Luckily next day was okay.

Played monopoly.

Then had some boring lecture on LEAPs.

Then watched a movie called Gattaca.

Pretty awesome.

Especially the character who is the real Jerome.

GO watch it.

But be warned.

Got nice colourful vocab in the movie.

Then was NP.

Did baton drills and was pretty okay.

Then was campfire songs and i thought could slack.

And when that was happening the N Land guys were changing behind us.

So abit awkward.

So now its the first weekend after exams.

MONDAY
Went to school.
Forgot to bring compre and hand up to emo JH.
So got kinda scolded.
Then went for iMedia prep for teacher's day celebration.
Used it as a chance to showcase the CHMA finalists.
The dance people.... they were wierd.
Their parents must be so proud.
The band sucked though.
Couldn't hear their singers at all.
Then had to pack up all the equipment.
Took damn long.

I got burned in the face on the first day of the June Holidays.

Great way to start, huh?

Luckily it was just a minor burn. It used to be a small hole surrounded by grey stuff but now the skin has peeled off so it's recovering.

Anyway if you're haven't heard, there's a (another) vampire movie coming. It's called BLOOD: The Last Vampire I think. Well, the main character is half human, half vampire (aren't they all) and it's played by actress Gianna-Jun. Interesting fact is her real name is Ji-Hyun. Pronounce it. Remind you of someone? Everyday being surrounded by einstiens and super zai people is very hard to cope with. It's no longer like SAJS when you feel smart everyday. Now, when everybody is like that it is pretty bad for my self-esteem. I feel stupider and stupider everyday. Damn. This is...... war i guess.

I've made some new friends and there is suprising for somebody who was and probaly still is (tobi and garreth know this one) UNPOPULAR. Yeah. Shocking. There is just one guy. He is a pain in the (insert a body part here). He is Hans' lab partner and everybody hates him. Lets call him BC since those are his initials. I will explain some other time.

NPCC is not bad. They are trying to let the new recruits go shooting every week. The thing is there are only 17 people and MORE THAN HALF CANNOT DO A PROPER PUSHUP. Including the level rep. This is gonna be interesting. Other than that keep tagging.

Today Si Ern, Hans, Tobi, Say Wee and I went back to SAJS to see some teachers. Tobi arrived 30 min before all of us and was waiting for Say Wee when Si Ern called him to wait for us. Say Wee said he was coming soon. 30 min later, we arrived and Say Wee haven't come yet. We had to get visitor's pass to 'legally'. Tobi didn't get cos he came from the back. He chong to get one then we go hunting for the teachers. We saw Ms Poon first then in the middle of the talking Say Wee appeared. Ms Poon scolded Hans for his attitude. LOl. So sad. Anyway we continue looking. Then we found out Say Wee don't have pass so he is not suposed to be in the sch. We were looking into 6-3 classroom where Fern was teaching then he look back. He open the door and Tobi chong very fast and hide behind the back door. So yong gan. Anyway he talk and tell us to meet him after sch cos he was busy. We couldn't be bothered. Beng Whatt appeared and the only person he talk to was.......... hans. Single him out then go gai gai with him. We walk first away. We return our pass and Say Wee was like crouching below the security guard desk then he successfully zao away. Had lunch at KFC then obi went to Say Wee's house.

So on friday was the orientation. Went to the open plaza where u suppose to meet and waited. Then saw Noah from 6-2. He got 238 and came in by DSA for tennis. Then also saw Si Ern. Si Yuan went to SASS so he will not be joining his twin, like Jaren and Jonathan. Then had to get into orientation group for devotion. Hans and I in group A, Noah in E and Si Ern in G. Didn't see Hans till after devotion. So had national anthem then pledge. There were a whole lot of prayers and i had no friggin idea. Whenever the teacher ended a prayer, I looked up, then realised there were more prayers. Really is Catholic High. The pastor was in robes suprisingly. Never thought that they gave devotion in the school wearing the robes like SAJS.

So got brought to the hall for a briefing by two prefect jokers who didnt really give a briefing. Got 3 prefects in charge of Group A. So there was sports orientation which they see you good, they ask you to join. Went to the tennis court first to try out tennis. Was ok but wasn't that good. First try so cannot expect much. Went there for nothing cos there was one pro that forced the senior all the way to the back of the court and won and wasn't ask to join. . Then went to the running track. That teacher is siao. Made us run 800m as a warm up for a 30m run. Where is the logic? Went for something where you try to jump as high as you can and then they take your height and weight. It was followed by throwing a medicine ball as far as you can. The coach (who is German according to Hans) asked Hans if he was interested in Throws where you throw obviously. Discus, javelin all that stuff. Hans wen to think about it. Followed by trying to throw a tennis ball as far as you can. Went for recess after that. Canteen was smaller than SAJS one. The drinks were cheaper but not the food. Went for some stupid icebreaker where you say your name and where you come from. Turns out that there are 2 malaysian scholars in my group. They sort you up by your name alphabetically so there are 3 Benedicts, 3 Benjamins and 3 Brians. Wow. The prefects lost track of time so they try to teach the cheer as fast as possible but failed. Went for some group competition where you have a ping pong ball in a spoon and try to get to the other side as possible. Kinda like at Daniel's party that time. A won, followed by F. There was a cheering contest but no one was really interested. Was released for lunch then were ask to call back which is running in the rain up stairs to the hall. Very fun. Got briefed about some newspaper collection programme and was warned about a teacher nicknamed Tiger. Most fiercest teacher in Cat High. Released for lunch and met up with Si Ern. Went for the rest of the sports. Went for basketball which I totally sucked and then wushu. The wushu guy just wanted to see if you can do split and how high you can jump. Btw, before every sport they asked you if you DSA in. There is a Ai Tong volleyball player, a cross country runner, a track and field guy and one more which I forgot.Went for table tennis and the coach (who is from China) fired balls at us. His voice is unnaturally high and Hans said that he left his testicles in China. Lol. Last one was volleyball which thet first measured your standing board jump, then co-ordination, then ball hitting. Hans said he sucks at standing board jump. He got 150. I got 180. See the diff? Co-ordination was ok and there was no more time for hitting then assembled at the sports track. Saw one teacher scold a trackand field guy like damn bad. According to one of my group prefects in charge, he is the lion, second to the tiger. Once he made a Sec one orientaion group run 30 time front and back cos they never respond loud enough. "The tiger is much more capable" the prefect said. Oh shit. The tiger is in charge of NCC Air. No way I'm gonna join that.

Christmas was not very merry. Went to my aunt's house like every year for a crap christmas party. I know crap is a strong word but i really mean it. So basically my relatives give me money to go buy what i want cos they don't know much about meamd thus don't know what to get. At the "party" i didn't (like the past 11 years) talk to my cousins cos of the age jump. Closest to my age is my spoilt cousin who is 9 followed by another one who is 17. So my aunt whose house was the party gave me a....a....a.... water bottle. -_-. It was bought overseas somemore and was below $7. She didn't rip off the price tag well enough. If it makes things better she gave my sister and I a....a....a.... toilet paper cover.-_-. What the f. I think tobi and garreth are laughing at this point. To make things "merrier", the $ I got for Christmas was put into my university funds so I don't really have $ to buy anything.

Went to Hwa Chong to see the school and it's freakin big. 3 bus stops in a school is pretty freaky. And basically I heard the many different ways to say "Your score is too low. You have no hope. But you can stay around and look at the school you don't have a chance to go in if you want.=)." as nicely as possible. Below is a song by a band called Kaiser Chiefs called Never Miss a Beat. That's my PSLE score on top. I beat a nice friggin amount of people in the school(7th place!) and that fees so damn good. Beating Gar was the best since he told me he was very confindent of beating me. Before get results already tell me he told me he will confident of getting higher than me. Then the tables turned!! Sats Activities

On Saturday, Hans, HJ and I went to Daniel's house. Hans and I got in without anyone knowing, went to gym, check out the house, before finally deciding to look for Daniel. Caught him watching Naruto. Anyways, went to swim after that. There was a air-filled raft to get on but Hans turned it over, got in to breathe as there was air trapped underneath the boat. Then played frisbee in water. Hans decided to sink the raft but there was no pail available so had to use arms and leg to splash water into the raft. Then, Hans got on, followed by me, then HJ. It was only meant to fit 2 people so you know how the space available was like. Shaked the raft until capsize. So bloody fun that we did it over and over again. After a while, Hans and HJ denied me getting on the raft so I kept turning over the boat with them on. Then went to dry ourselves. Only one towel available so had to take turns. Hans first used. I wanted to use after him but HJ and him ran into the toilet, locked the doors and were giggling inside. Kinda creepy. Ended the day with a game of basketball and went home.

I think SSW or Garreth is going to die real bad from Term 2 Week 3 to Term 2 Week 6 if the relief teacher for ms Poon is female (better if looks like Ms Phua or Mrs Yee). Everybody will be going 'SAY WEEEEEEEEEEEEE' for 3 weeks. BUT, if SSW gets enough people to go 'GARRETHHH', then he will die too.

On Monday i kena got splashed by the red ink. Ya, Hans got it on his shoe and the table. The stain was quite bad. It took 2 days to wash off. I remember tobi saying at the end of maths olmypiad that i got attacked by mas selamat.

I just got my second toe smashed into 5kg concrete. Not much pain at first but it grows slowly. Now its quite numb and pain.

Hols are kinda boring

So far the holideays are kinda boring. Nothing much to do. Recentl, i have been playing a msn game called Guiness Speedpool Challenge with Garreth. Basically he pro, i suck. HE will say stuff like 'limbei will trash u' or 'nt' which stands for nice try. The ratio of the no. of times I won him to the no. of times he won me is 1:4. That is the power of limbei I guess.

Fern, my form teacher, is amazing. He has a memory like a goldfish and can never continue something for more than week. He is special.

He can forget stuff and say stuff or even do stuff for no rhyme or reason. Pure wierd but sometimes irritating like hell.
